Garmin zumo XT2 MotoPumps Security Lock Protection Kit
This is a complete security and protection kit for your Garmin zumo XT2 GPS. It includes the compact but effective MotoPumps security lock to prevent the removal of the GPS, the zumoBUMPER XT2 moulded rubber bumper that attaches to the perimeter of your GPS and the zumoCOVER XT2 mount to protect the contacts and keep the dirt away.
The MotoPumps Garmin zumo XT2 security lock installs between the powered cradle and your chosen GPS mount hardware attached to your motorcycle. The lock is thin enough that it allows you to re-use the original mounting hardware included with your GPS mount.
The security pin locks the GPS in place on the Garmin zumo XT2 cradle by preventing the release button from being depressed. Installation takes a matter of minutes on any GPS mount compatible with the Garmin zumo XT2.
A few quick turns of the 304 stainless steel security pin with its proprietary security key and you can lock or unlock your GPS. The billet 6061 aluminum plate is light, robust, corrosion resistant and unobtrusive. The MotoPumps zumo XT2 security lock is perfect for our low profile super bike premium mounts and for fitment against flat surfaces such as instrument panels.
The zumoBUMPER XT2 is an injection moulded rubber bumper that attaches to the perimeter of your Garmin zumo XT2 GPS navigator and provides increased impact protection. The flexible material allows for the bumper to be easily fitted and removed as required. The zumoBUMPER XT2 allows for full access to the USB-C and micro SD Card ports on the rear of the GPS.
The zumoBUMPER for the zumo XT2 is available in five different colours so you can match your bike.
The cover that ships with the zumo XT2 motorcycle cables only protects the electrical contacts on the motorcycle cradles. The zumoCOVER XT2 solves this problem by covering the whole cradle when the GPS is not fitted. This is not only better aesthetically but it also helps to prevent the build up of dirt and other foreign matter on the cradle mount surface.
The zumoCOVER XT2 is made from hard rubber so it has some flexibility to make it easy to install and remove. The cable loop and stay is similar in design to the Genuine Garmin plastic contact cover allowing it to be stowed securely when not in use. The retainer can also be cut off discreetly without affecting the main cover.

If you are using RAM Mount hardware to mount your zumo, consider replacing the double socket arm knob with a genuine RAM Mount PIN Lock or Key Lock Knob to prevent the hardware from being removed.
Please note:
No security device can guarantee full protection against theft and your GPS navigator should be removed when parking for long periods of time and when your motorcycle is out of view for an extended period.
A thief's biggest issue is time. The longer a job is going to take, the sooner they will move along to another target.
