RAM Tough-Claw Compact AMPS Mount Kit
The RAP-B-400-25AMPS consists of a small Tough-Claw base and a rectangular, 25mm ball socket to AMPS adapter that suits Garmin motorcycle GPS navigators and any other device with the AMPS 4-hole pattern.
This is a perfect kit if you need to move your GPS device between motorcycles. Do you need a temporary mount solution for a rental motorcycle, bicycle or ATV? This is a lightweight, compact mount that will hold your AMPS device securely on a handlebar or rail.
The RAM Tough-Claw is the perfect mounting base for quick and easy tool-less installation and removal on round, square, odd shaped rails and bars. The Tough-Claw can be clamped on rails from 16mm to 38mm (0.625" to 1.5") outer diameter.
The socket slots securely over 25mm (1 inch) balls and the 4-hole AMPS pattern matches the genuine Garmin Montana and inReach AMPS cradles as well as a huge range of other manufacturers’ devices.
The AMPS adapter is secured into place by tightening the collar which applies pressure on the surface of the ball.
