The OptiMate O-18 kit is an easy way to install a compact 12V fused protected outlet on your motorcycle. The kit includes a panel mount DIN socket with a 100cm lead with a fused battery lead with M6 ring terminals. The socket is a standard DIN4165 connector with positive lock ensuring that the inserted plug remains connected even during severe vibration.
The compact DIN socket has a metal body & automatic closing cap and is similar to the sockets on BMW, Triumph, Victory and other standard fitments on motorcycles.
The compact mounting socket fits into a 18mm and the ring terminals fit standard M6 (1/4”) bolts on motorcycle batteries and they can be positioned out of the way to fit in tight spaces.
